I have been looking and looking for an integrated solution, as I am usually attempting to open Microsoft product documents that are attachments to an email (and I use Thunderbird as an email client, so I double-click on the file to open it). Saving the file, then uploading to Google docs was a giant PITA, so I went on the hunt for some way to associate my .doc, .xls, etc. files to Google Docs. And there you were.
So far, I'm absolutely thrilled, and I'm so grateful that I found you!!

I prefer http://www.gdocsopen.com instead of any “office” type software. It make gdocs local and recognizes file types.

I use Google Docs frequently, and hate that I have to keep a browser tab opened for whenever I need to access a document. After finding your product, I really have it easy. I’m one click away from what I need.

Never really understood why you can't right click on a file and select some option like send to google docs. Still don't understand why Google didn't make something like this. Anyway, glad to see someone read my mind :)

I never did like big chunky programs which slow down my system. They also have a bad habit of costing much, so I just chose not to install any on my PC. I love Google Docs but didn't like that it's not integrated with my Windows Explorer. Using this little program called GDocsOpen I can double click the file and open it right away.

Migrating all my doc files onto my Google Docs account seemed like a neverending task. I had to click browse on my Google account, select one file, press Upload. It was madness. Now I just double click the file and it automatically gets uploaded to my Google account. Saves me a lot of time, worth every dollar!
