When opening any document from your local computer, GDocsOpen uploads silently to Google Docs. From this point on, Google Docs takes care about everything: converting the file and opening it in GDocsOpen.

From the main interface, you can choose to open a local file, or a remote one. If you choose a remote file to open, you will get access to your GoogleDocs document.

The default editing option of GDocsOpen is our internal browser. Using that, we are able, in the end, to synchronize your changes locally.

However, you can use GDocsOpen to edit your file in your favourite browser. We detect the browsers installed on your PC, so you don't have to!



Recent opened files saves you time

Whenever you open a document, be it local or remote, we save that in your local open history. This way, you don't have to browser again to that document, you can open it with one click
